Jonathon Porritt, Dieter Helm & Caroline Lucas: Can We Save the Planet
The recent pandemic has sharpened our focus on the natural world and the vandalism that humanity has inflicted on it. Could Covid-19 be the catalyst for reversing the climate catastrophe?
Join our three speakers who devote their lives to the health of the planet upon which all of our lives depend. Jonathon Porritt’s new book Hope in Hell asserts that the next decade is the decisive one in halting climate change, and Dieter Helm claims in his recently published Net Zero that to stop causing climate change we need to reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon absorption.
Chaired by Green Party MP for Brighton, Caroline Lucas, who contributes her depth and breadth of knowledge to the debate.
